Bolohon Church,

½ day trip .
Certainly one of the older churches of the Philippines build in 1599 ,this building is actualy under renovation , the ceilings of the church are made of wood planking, probably mahogany and painted with religeous motives and scenes describing the journey of the colonisators. Church bells are contained in a separate tower which was also a watch tower and the differents buildings were surrounded by a wall still partly visible. A small museum is now open to the public where you can observe the birth, mariage and death record books from the 1780’s .You will be asked an entrance fee of 50 pesos and donations are encouraged.
